此摆件选用优质和田白玉而制，油润细腻，通透精白。鹿呈跪伏回首姿态，双角、双耳紧贴头部，棱形双眼，口衔灵芝，双目传神，蹄足有力，前腿蹲伏回弯；一只小鹿依偎在旁，凝视大鹿，颇显灵动可爱，其身后一束灵芝仙草栩栩如生，颇为生动写实。“鹿”与“禄”同音，寓意禄显灵至、官运降临。整体造型线条浑厚且不失灵动大气美观，十分适合作为收藏把玩陈设。双鹿衔灵芝是乾隆宫廷尤受欢迎的玉雕题材，雕作双鹿子母者，不仅有福禄多寿的吉祥寓意，更具舐犊情深的生动感，故本品原应是宫中旧陈。配红木镂雕灵芝纹底座。
