Tirage collé sur un carton dépliant, l`un des cartons avec portant un cachet sec du studio photographique Herzog & Higgins avec armoiries. Un portrait similaire a été vendu chez Bonhams, 6 octobre 2009, lot n°260. Les portraits de ce lot sont datés entre les années 1890 et les années 19301 tirage platine-palladium montrant un portrait en buste de Nripendra Narayan, Maharaja de Cooch Behar, vêtu d`un turban et de multiples ornements, 30x22,5 cm (tirage). Ce Maharaja était Grand Commandant (Knight Grand Commander, GCIE) de l`ordre "Order of the Indian Empire" et en porte le collier et la médaille. Un tirage similaire, au cadrage plus large, attribué à Bourne & Shepherd, daté 1903, est conservé à la Royal Collection Trust, inv. n°RCIN 29166221probable tirage platine-palladium montrant un portait de Lokendra Singhji Sahib Bahadur, Maharaja de Ratlam, debout dans un intérieur, appuyé sur une chaise et une épée, 35,5x26 cm (tirage) (restaurations). Sur le carton du tirage, inscription "Hamilton Studios Ltd/Simla". Ce nawab était Commandeur (Knight Commander, KCSI) de l`ordre "Order of the Star of India" et en porte la médaille et le badge. Il était également Commandeur (Knight Commander, KCIE) de l`ordre "Order of the Indian Empire" et en porte la médaille. On the cardboard of the print, inscription "Hamilton Sutdios Ltd/Simla". This nawab was a Knight Commander (KCSI) of the Order of the Star of India and wears the medal and badge. He was also a Knight Commander (KCIE) of the Order of the Indian Empire and wears the medal.
