This dish was part of the cargo of a 15th century shipwreck discovered in the 1990s that came to be known as the 'Hoi An Hoard'. 23cm diam. Together a fascinating book, 'Dragon Sea' by Frank Pope who was the archaeological manager of the salvage operation. One faint 3.5cm vertical hairline from rim, otherwise in good condition with typical wear expected from shipwreck items.
