|官布先生擅长国画油画。曾参加第三次全国文代会及第二次全国美代会。中国美协第二第三、四届理事。从1954年起至1993年历任中国美协内蒙古分会秘书长、副主席，北京美协秘书长、副主席。从1963年起在内蒙古、北京、广东、上海、山东及美国举办个人画展十次。曾是第二三届内蒙古政协委员和五六届北京政协委员。1994年离休后，为发展民族美术事业，培养少数民族美术人才，创办中国少数民族美术促进会，任会长。国庆六十周年前夕，中共内蒙古自治区党委和内蒙古自治区政府向他颁发了“文学艺术杰出贡献奖”荣誉证书和金质奖章。2013年2月24日在北京逝世。享年85岁。
