PAIR OF ROCOCO STYLE GIRANDOLES. Hossauer, Johann George. Berlin. Date: Around 1819. Technique: Gilt silver. Description: Slightly curved, round foot with baluster shaft, bothdecorated with dense rocaille and scallop décor. Three-flame candelabrum with central tendril. Measurement: Height each 35,5, width 32,5cm. Mark: Inspection mark Berlin with indistinct letters, 2. inspection master Andreack (1819-42, ibid. no.18), maker's mark Johann George Hossauer (1819-1874, 1826 goldsmith of his majesty.
