Bronze Tibet , 19th century Dimensions: Height 28 cm Wide 17 cm Depth 16 cm Weight: 3486 grams Large vessel with bowl at the top and head of a wrathful deity on one side. A small hole in the mouth as pouring hole. The face has bulging eyes, a third eye on the forehead and a moustache. The ears are decorated with spiral ear pendants, a large three-spiked tiara with stone inlay. The body of the vessel is decorated with a thin band of skulls and the bodies of two snakes. The bowl at the bottom is decorated with seated Buddhas gesturing various mudras.
