袁世凯正式就任民国大总统后，次年1914年由天津造币总厂意大利籍雕刻师乔奇镌模发行“共和纪念币”壹圆银币。正面为袁氏着戎装，头戴高帽的七分侧面像，没有文字。背面内圈为嘉禾二本，左右交互，下萦结带，中镌“壹圆”二字，外缘上方刻“中华民国共和纪念币”九字，底部则为英文ONE DOLLAR，另有正面人像右下肩处镂刻缩写L.GIORGI的签字版。“共和纪念币壹圆”银币是乔奇在民国成立后最早雕刻的作品，存世者中的乔奇L.GIORGI签字版，向为藏家追逐的热门币。 此纪念币铸打锐利，肖像细节完美清晰。双面缀以诱人黄褐色包浆。赏心悦目，备受追捧。 PCGS SP63+ / 评级编号86045429
