A rare Chinese Bleu de Hue 'dragon and phoenix' bowl for the Vietnamese market, 19th century, painted to the exterior with a dragon and a phoenix facing the flaming pearl among waves and clouds, a one-character "nhut" (sun) mark in underglaze blue to base, 18.5cmProvenance: Collection of the late documentary maker John Armstrong (1928-2004).外銷安南十九世紀 青花繪龍鳳紋盌,青花「日」款來源:紀錄片導演約翰·阿姆斯特朗收藏。cf.
