作者简介：王雪涛(1903-1982)，字晓封，号迟园，河北成安人。中国现代著名小写意花鸟画家。对我国小写意花鸟绘画做出了突出贡献。他继承宋、元以来的优秀传统，取长补短。所作题材广泛，构思精巧，形似神俏，清新秀丽，富有笔墨情趣。创作上主张“师法造化而抒己之情，物我一体，学先人为我所用，不断创新”。画法上工写结合，虚实结合。他的花鸟虫鱼，刻画细致入微，鲜活多姿，生动可爱，情趣盎然。摆脱了明清花鸟画的僵化程式，创造了清新灵妙，雅俗共赏的鲜明风格。二十世纪五、六十年代其花鸟画已达到一个艺术高峰，至今无人出其右。
