作者简介：张石园(1898－1959)，名玄，字克和、祥庚、霭如，号石园，以号行，别署石园居士、麻石翁。斋号砚云山馆、砚云斋。武进(今江苏常州)人。上海中国画院画师、上海市文史馆馆员。擅画山水，深得王石谷风貌。用笔浑厚凝练，老硬有力，墨色秀润清丽，画树穿插多姿，曲尽其态，峰峦、岩石、水口等布局妥贴，水墨、浅绛、淡彩、青绿等各种技法，深入石谷堂奥。书法篆、隶、行、草均擅，草书学怀素，最饶风致。精鉴赏，对古代青铜器、瓷器、金石、碑帖、篆刻研究有素。
