作者简介：周练霞(1908-2000)，原籍江西吉安，生于湖南湘潭，字紫宜，号螺川，书斋名螺川书屋，又名忏红轩。1922年开始学画，师从郑壶叟。1934年6月加入冯文凤、李秋君、陈小翠、顾飞等创办的中国女子书画会。曾任锡珍女子中学教师。后为上海中国画院画师、中国美术家协会会员。擅长中国画，《仕女》入选1953年全国国画展览会。兼作诗词、小说，十七岁从朱古微学词，又从徐悲鸿的外舅蒋梅笙学诗。其词作清丽可喜，"但使两心相照，无灯无月何妨"一语，广为传诵。文革中受尽折磨，一目失明，曾请人篆刻"一目了然"章。1980年移居美国，直至谢世。
