A Grand Tour of an early Roman Imperial period hanging oil lamp in the British Museum,posed of a squat body with two nozzles, leaping lion bursting through acanthus leaves on each side, handle formed from two addorsed diving dolphins, floral plaques to the nozzle and shoulder, stylised petals decorating the body and base, bearded and horned satyr head to the underside of both nozzles; hook to top; base absent.
