此锁鼓形，分三节七条银链，银锁上方银链两侧各悬挂着一个银制小人、锁下方有四个铃铛，左右两侧各有一变体“寿”字。通体以饰以珍珠地，正面饰以立体感极强的“麒麟送子”纹。背面中央处有开光，开光处饰以更细密的鱼子地，在开光中央处有三个楷书大字“状元弟”，字体丰满圆润，苍劲有力。此锁包浆自然莹润，题材寓意吉祥，是为清代的佳作。
