花觚器型源自上古青铜器觚，宋时为五供之一。觚器身作三段式，喇叭形口，腹部鼓出，足胫外撇，腹部、足胫均出四道稜脊，造型古朴大方。通体施粉青釉，釉面温润厚腴，色泽淡恬幽靓，通体无纹，秀美天成，构成了独特的装饰效果。釉色厚润，色泽依器型的转折而丰富多变。全器造型别致，俊秀挺拔，隽雅端丽，纯净釉色与古朴之器形完美结合，相互映衬，相得益彰，为翘楚之作。
