黄釉瓷器始烧于明代，以弘治娇黄釉最为知名，清代承袭烧造。拍品盘形小巧，内外壁均施黄釉，釉质晶莹。清代宫廷对黄釉瓷的使用有严格规定，不得僭越。据《国朝宫史》记载，皇太后和皇后用内外皆黄釉瓷。成对保存，品相良好，较为难得。
