周志高，江苏兴化人，中国书法家协会第一、二届常务理事，第三、五、六届理事，中国书协资深评委。1977年创办上海《书法》杂志并任执行主编，策划和主办中国书坛〝五个第一〞重大活动，被誉为〝中国当代书法复兴奠基人〞之一。2003年任中国书协《中国书法》杂志主编、中国书协编辑出版委员会副主任，现为《中国书法》杂志特约编委、中央文史馆书画院研究员、国家人社部中国人才研究会书画人才专业委员会副会长、上海市文史研究馆馆员、复旦大学、上海师范大学兼职教授、上海市书协主席、名誉主席，上海中国书法院院长、上海市文联副主席。
