香港藏家旧藏 古时玉璧中心多为圆孔，但也有一些孔内带有异兽的璧，常见的多在孔内镂雕螭龙。这件玉璧中心镂雕灵猴，纹饰特殊，极其少见。 玉璧有红沁灰皮，琢有勾连云纹，中心灵猴呈团身状，头歪斜，弓背，半蹲曲膝，这种表现手法是为了更充分地利用圆孔内的空间。整器具有早期风格。 此玉璧的孔内带有装饰，孔内透雕人面猴身纹，造型独特，使作品更加具有美感。同类纹饰在台北故宫得见，只此一例。
