来源北美十面灵璧山居收藏，购自蓝理捷，纽约，编号LL68瓷盒在两晋时期已经出现，唐宋盛行。盒扁圆，直口，平底，成型规矩，转折、起线处尤见立坯功力。盒盖平面无钮，与盒身子母口相合，严丝合缝。外壁施绿釉为地，上面点缀以大量白色斑纹，白色与绿色互相浸润，形成斑驳明丽的纹饰图案，引人入胜，韵味无穷。釉面薄润，清新明快，釉层有细碎开片。子母口及底涩胎，可见胎土选炼精细，色白质坚。此盒造型纹饰古雅，应为当时文人雅士钟爱之物。故宫博物院藏有一件唐代绿釉白斑盒，形制、尺寸等与拍品极为相近，亦为绿彩白斑装饰。
