此尊精铜所铸，整作四方造型，边角转折明朗，造型挺拔，透露出隽秀典雅之风，时代特征鲜明。
口沿微撇，颈部收束，肩两侧对饰贯耳，弧腹下敛，器身线条流畅，底承覆斗式高圈足。通体纹饰以五道弦纹界隔，自上而下饰海水纹、回纹、蟠虺纹、夔凤纹、几何纹。足墙饰夔龙纹。
整器纹饰雕琢修磨极为精细，既有三代青铜器神秘威严气息，又具宋元铜器的柔美精雅之风，加之端庄古朴的器型，若以插花陈设，定当雅韵顿生，实可宝藏。
对比一例，香港苏富比2014年10月8日拍卖，售出一例“宋/元·铜开光锦纹贯耳方壶”，与本品工艺极为相似，以HKD 350,000价格成交，编号3393.
