说明：1934年12月17日，阎锡山父亲阎子明病逝于故里。蒋介石除哀以挽联外，又下令拨款10万元治丧，派何应钦为代表前去吊唁，并主持祭礼。这10万元葬费使阎家的丧事性质得以改变，后来阎锡山编写的其父安葬过程取名为《阎子明先生奉葬实录》，仅一个“奉”字，足以说明由于蒋的拨款，使阎家丧祭从家丧（原充其量是省级）变为国家级别的“大事”。
