五瓣梅花式盘，弧壁，梅花式圈足，盘内髹朱红色漆，足内及外壁髹黑色漆。盘形周正，古雅沉静，简约大气。器外壁以剔犀工艺装饰如意云头纹一周十个，刀口断面可见朱色漆线工整有度，刻线力道平均，纹饰造型规律，云纹线条粗细变化一致，构图层次分明。
本件梅花形盘所采用的装饰手法不为多见，内壁以简约的单色漆为饰，与外壁光洁鲜亮的剔犀纹饰相映成辉，然外壁所剔刻纹饰亦相对来说较为精简，刀口断面处仅可见一层朱线，以流畅大方的线条表现整体纹饰的层次美，如行云流水，气韵浓沉，以免与内壁简约美格格不入，如此更可见匠心。
