【款识】金子环、沈静贤伉俪指正，辛未冬至，八十六叟西泠石伽。 【钤印】石伽（朱文）、福寿书生（白文）

申石伽(1906-2001年)是海派著名书画家。别署西泠石伽，室名“六步诗楼”。浙江杭州人。申石伽出生于书画世家，祖父为晚清著名山水画家申宜轩。申石伽3岁发蒙，髫龄习篆隶、刻印，画梅竹山水，能写扇，为学者俞陛云(俞平伯之父)赏识。 自称“西泠石伽”的老画家申石伽先生在画坛享有盛名的时间颇早，凭借着笔墨精到的《十万图册》，一时声名鹊起，为人所瞩目。海上画坛，向来人才辈出，尤其山水一科，其时，张大千、吴湖帆、郑午昌、冯超然、贺天健等，皆堪称执牛耳的一方诸侯。在这样的局面下，年轻的申石伽，就凭着过硬的笔墨功夫，将《十万图册》画得风生水起，姿态万千，为人所惊艳。
