作者简介：胡公寿(1823-1886)，初名远，号瘦鹤、小樵，别号横云山民，华亭(今上海松江)人，清末书画家。其书法出入于平原、北海间，独具体势。诗宗少陵，清健遵练。为海上画派代表画家之一。传世作品有《桂树图》、《香满蒲塘图》等。
