In 1977, Rolex introduced a new movement for the Day-Date generation, caliber 3055. It is the first Rolex movement to have a quick-set function, making it very easy to correct the date. The present lot is a very pleasant example of Day-Date reference 18039, immediately recognizable for its special textured case.
