|此炉敞口，短束颈，桥耳弧线流畅圆润，口沿下承扁平腹，腹部弧线与三足流畅相连。底部平滑，铸“大明宣德年制”款，款识端庄、字体利落。桥耳炉仿南宋姜娘子制器而铸，用途说法不一，依《八卷谱》载，为宣宗用以御赐国子监祭酒的炉款。桥耳又有媒介之意，寓意深远。
