扳指白玉质，质地洁白温润，宛若羊脂，细腻致密。外壁局部减底浮雕一只瑞兽伏在花枝叶下，抬头做欲扑之状，其头顶一只飞鸟正在翱翔，似乎是在和瑞兽追逐嬉戏，外壁另一侧阴刻王勃诗一首“遥吟俯畅，，逸兴遄飞。冈”子冈款。诗文行笔流畅，颇具笔墨韵致。为白玉扳指中上乘之作，可观可赏，适于把玩，实为难得。
