Two Chinese fans, one with a calligraphy poem and one with a painting, both by Zhang Zhuyi. Both fans are mounted on paper backings and framed together. The calligraphy fan is done in ink on gold-flecked paper, and it has an inscription and two seals. The painting fan is done in watercolor and ink on paper, and it depicts two figures in a landscape scene. It has an inscription and one seal. Dimensions are: the calligraphy fan measures 9 inches tall X 19 1/2 inches wide, 22.9 cm X 49.5 cm, while the frame measures 31 1/2 inches tall X 44 inches wide, 80 cm X 111.8 cm.
