炉形周正，作钵式造型，敛口，丰肩，弧腹下收，底承圈足。腹部圆形开窗，云纹锦地，高浮雕勾勒出云蝠纹作为装饰，样式高古，线条灵动，造型巧致，刻绘细腻，雕工遒劲有力，勾勒尤为逼真，使整器富丽华美，富有动感。此炉底部保留原配束腰平足承座，与炉身严丝合缝，浑然一体，大气凛然。底部镌刻「大明宣德三年监督工部官臣吴邦佐造」落款，字体方正严峻，仪轨森严。通体栗壳之色，古香古色，厚泽细腻，微抚即亮，微温即润，极具艺术性和收藏价值。
