【款识】：芝山铭 【描述】：此件臂搁为清代竹刻名家宋葆淳所制。芝山其名，多见于竹刻作品之上，且有与邓渭合制作传世。宋葆淳，字帅初，号芝山，晚号倦陬，山西安邑人。乾隆五十一年（一七八六）举人。官隰州学正。性傲岸，游迹半天下，所至以诗画史。长于金石考据，善鉴别，隶书、行、楷，皆入能品。亦工篆刻。此臂搁线刻流畅，层次分明，构思巧妙，人物栩栩如生，为竹刻之精品。
