A Five-Piece Ottoman Silver-Mounted Japanese Porcelain Writing-Set and Tray, The Porcelain Edo Period, The Mounts with Tuğra and Sah Mark, Probably Those of Abdulmejid I, Mid 19th Century, the body each painted in underglaze blue with differing flowers and foliage, the plain silver mounts probably later, each with flower finial on the hinged cover, with beaded border and on rim base with three scrolling legs,prising: three ink-bottles, a pounce pot and a small water vessel with leaf-capped scroll handle, the tray kidney-shaped and with moulded border, the bottles 10.7cm high and smaller, the tray 28.8cm wide, 10oz 19dwt, 341gr (6) Condition report: The hinged cover, rim and base each marked with Tuğra mark or droplet form Sah mark. The base and inside the cover with assay scrape. One of the ink-bottles has been cracked and restored with overpainting on the outside. There are some scratches and wear overall.
