此碗造型端庄，胎体薄匀而轻盈。胎质细腻洁白，釉面莹润油滑，更能突出粉彩装饰的纤美，色彩柔和。外壁以粉彩绘折枝牡丹，色彩妍丽，姿态婀娜。牡丹花或成簇开放，或含苞欲放，枝干穿插有致，疏密得当，画面层次丰富，气韵通畅。侧边两朵含苞欲放的小花头以粉色晕染，娇艳可爱，主题牡丹以正面勾画，赤红晕染，颜色艳丽夺目，主次分明，为画面点睛之处。
