“半桌”之名，见嘉庆间纂修的《工部则例》，北京匠师也沿用此称，谓其相当于八仙桌的一半。此半桌乃半圆形制式，红木而制，板心原嵌云石。四木攒框，冰盘沿线脚，矮束腰，其上起线作椭圆形开光。彭牙，三弯腿，内翻足间连有横枨。彭牙浮雕云蝠捧寿纹，边缘起线，延伸至腿，其间有镂空蝙蝠纹。足上浮雕云蝠纹，足枨间装镂空云蝠纹花板，绕环半个寿字纹。两张桌拼合，可成一张整圆桌；分而依墻而置，亦可装饰空间，赏用两宜。
