常书鸿（1904-1994），满族，老姓：伊尔根觉罗氏。别名：廷芳、鸿，河北省头田佐人。擅长油画、敦煌艺术研究。1923年毕业于浙江省立甲种工业学校染织科，1932年毕业于法国里昂国立美术学校，1936年毕业于法国巴黎高等美术专科学校。历任北平艺专教授，国立艺专校务委员、造型部主任、教授，教育部美术教育委员会委员，1943年任国立敦煌艺术研究所所长。1949年后历任敦煌文物研究所所长、名誉所长。敦煌研究院名誉院长、研究员、国家文物局顾问。甘肃省文联主席，第三届、第五届全国人大代表、第六届全国政协委员，第四届全国文联委员。 河北头田佐籍，油画家、敦煌学家。 张强同志留念，一九五八年春三月，常书鸿于敦煌莫高窟。 常书鸿印
