款识：戊辰大寒后三日，道出琴城，积雪初霁，访壶川老兄大人未遇，今舟次涪江写此代柬并述近况，廿八字干下，次星李吉寿。十五年前旧举班，又来听鼓未除官，非关才具非关命，为画梅花故耐寒。画笔戏书。钤印：臣吉寿印，李氏次星，吉星临寿星见 说明 李吉寿，字次星，号桐江渔，广西永福人。道光二十三年（一八四三）举人。工写墨梅，师金农。尝植梅数百株，以供写生。兼工山水，临古之作逼真。晚年融诸家为炉，于树石、花卉、鸟虫、人物无不精妙。书法秀丽，尤工八分，瘦硬直追汉魏。草篆亦有法度。Lot2130-Lot2169为蜀中旧事专题
