传世明清铜炉，方炉数量较少，样式多见马槽、台几等。此炉方斗式，端正毓秀，传世罕见，乃雍正一朝制炉典范。平口外奢，敛腹，平底，下承四方蹄足，足端外撇，敦实厚重。两侧出戟耳，线条随器身曲度而变化，和谐对称，为光素的器身平添俊朗之姿。铜炉周身和底部均洒金，金片璀璨，采用「渗金法」遍布大小不等的「雨雪点」，金片如雨点雪片，大小相间，飘然分落。香炉铜质甚好，细润精密，掂之沉重，比例协调，肥瘦适宜，洒金更添炉之贵重。
