|说明：上款人培明应为高培明，曾任中央美术学院华东分院党委书记院长。||陆俨少先生在山水画中独创了两种新技法，一是“留白”，二是“墨块”。此幅《新安江》便能领会其中精髓。作品中大片的留白运用在近景和远景，中段江波、渔舟，下段房舍、林木等笔法细腻，充满野逸之趣，又深深莽莽。上段云山以浓墨积点成块，笔墨厚重，写出云山的壮丽变幻。画面构图非常具有新意，且给人一种身处其中，悠游忘我之感。云层奔赴，穿行于云天之间，云岚混为一色，远山云雾飘动，云岚披树，越发静谧！写水之线潇洒稳健；云则以松润疏淡之笔墨和之，设色精心，将水的各种状态表现得淋漓尽致；此作为陆氏写云水之佳作，云水用笔流畅飞动，和山石在笔墨上形成尖锐的对比，使动者益动，静者益静。
