A Chinese blue and white lidded ink box with green and red enamel accents dating from the late 19th century. The lid of the rectangular box features a pair of dragons with a flaming pearl over a wave and rock motif. The base of the box is decorated with waves and clouds. The bottom has a 6-character mark. Dimensions are: 1 1/4 inches tall X 4 1/2 inches wide X 6 1/4 inches deep, 3.2 cm X 11.4 cm X 15.9 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There is a chip to the rim of the bottom of the box and an area of abrasions to the lid. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
