A Chinese blue and white lidded box dating from the early 19th century. The lid is designed with a hole in the center. Both the lid and the base of the box are decorated with lotus tracery, and the lid has an additional band of ruyi around its hole. The bottom of the box has a 6-character mark. Dimensions are: 2 1/4 inches tall X 4 1/8 inches wide, 5.7 cm X 10.5 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There is a star crack to the exterior of the lid, and the lid also has a chip on its rim. The base of the box has three chips to the rim. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
