A Chinese octagonal famille rose vase dating from the early 19th century. It comes with a wooden stand. The body is divided into two registers; the lower register features scenes of flowers growing from rocks in the sea, while the upper register features four women in an interior scene. The body is flanked by two beast head handles holding engaged rings. Dimensions are: 15 3/4 inches tall X 9 1/2 inches wide, 40 cm X 24.1 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There are two large chips to the foot. One handle has two small chips. The foot has firing cracks. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
