The flat base is supported by two rectangular slats, each one arranged on one side. As for the body of the chest, it stands out for its sober ornamentation, based on the qualities of the material, and a design of straight lines and sharp edges. In addition to the aforementioned ornamentation, there is the presence of iron appliqués, which are in the shape of studs. A set of circular studs, which are located around the outer perimeter of the front, and other square iron fittings that are located in the center, on each of the flanks of the central lock. The lid, joined by two hinges, has the same aesthetics, combining the studs with the hinge hardware itself. The interior is compartmentalized and upholstered with a red damask fabric, probably from a later period.
