PROVENANCE: From private collectors in Gables Estates, Miami, Florida. Measurements: Height: 33 cm, Diam: 19.2cm Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Douqing Porcelain Meiping Jar. The porcelain potted into a traditional Meiping form, large, thick and tall potted, wide body on shoulder, slender neck easing to form narrow opening, with emerging slight flaring ring mouth rim, raised on round foot base, with slight concave. Warm and uniform celadon glaze applied to the whole surface, only the upper mouth rim and outer bottom is white glazed. The celadons were produced in a range of shades of colour, centred on olive-green, but extending to greenish blues and browns.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, Made in The Years QianLong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
