Dimensions: 10-7/8" H x 6-7/8" Dia. Chinese Qing Dynasty period, Blue & red YuHuChun vase. Potted in Chinese traditional YuHuChun shape vessel, the pear shaped bottle vase, slight ovoid body, a bottom-heavy body tapered gracefully to slender waisted neck, with wide flaring mouth rim, supported on short small foot base, slight concave. The exterior decorated with hand-painting in clean white under glazed base color which contrast against the blue and red fine color, depicted of a deer eat the flower below sturdy dense tree, flower blooms in the salubrious landscape. Red is the most important variety of China’s porcelain. It was originated in the Qing Dynasty. The red color of the packet symbolizes good luck, corresponding with fire, symbolizes good fortune and joy. And Blue stands for healing, trust and long life. The porcelain displays a subtle sheen as the light ricochets across the finely glazed exterior.
