Dimensions: Heigth: 26 cm, Diameter: 11 cm Chinese Qing QianLong Beijing Yellow Glass Dragon Vase. Stoutly carved Chinese glass unto large shape vase, thick and tall, heavy on the shoulder, short neck, flaring mouth rim, raised on a ring foot base with slight concave. The interior, exterior are both covered in yellow color, carved with imperial five claws dragon flying careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves. Peking glass originated in 18th century China during the rule of the Qing Dynasty. Historically, many pieces of Peking glass were made with yellow glass dubbed Imperial Yellow, due to the colors strong association with the Qing Imperial. It is outstanding in terms of artistic aesthetics and collection value.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a four carved seal script characters reign mark, enclosed within square line. Made in The Years QianLong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
