此觚精铜所铸，入手极为厚重。作菱方造型，喇叭形撇口，溜肩，腹部上鼓下敛收，底承高圈足，足下又接方台式底座，壸门式牙子，落于随形托泥之上，主体花觚及底座焊接为一体，实属少见。 颈部饰蕉叶纹六组，腹部四出戟，以凸起的扉棱为中心，饰以兽面纹及仿古夔龙纹，高足则饰以流云纹。通体纹饰铸造及修磨工艺不拘一格，展现出“粗大明”的典型特征，是一件古拙气息极为浓郁的陈设佳器。
