佛像頭戴寶冠,髮髻高聳,雙眼微閉、彎眉長目、耳珰垂肩、兩肩有花、儀態端莊,上身挺拔修長,下著薄裙貼體, 佩飾寶璐,臂戴釗鐲,左手指連於肩部並結三寶印,右手施與願印,右腳伸出,足踏蓮花,以如意姿舒坐於仰覆蓮花臺上,臺座束腰內收呈銳角狀,蓮瓣挺拔修長,主瓣間露出底層蓮瓣一角,微微上翹,造型優美。 度母,梵名Tara,全稱聖救度佛母,我國古代稱多羅菩薩多羅觀音,度母有許多不同的化現,包括有二十一度母、五百度母等等,皆為觀世音菩薩之化身,而綠度母為所有度母之主尊，總攝其餘二十尊化身之所有功德。她能救八種苦難,如獅難、象難、蛇難、水難、牢獄難、賊難、非人難,又稱為“救八難度母”。同時，還能把稱為五毒的人類行為貪、嗔癡、慢、疑中的“疑”轉成究竟圓滿的智慧,有護持婦女幼兒的功德。
