铜炉仿商周青铜簋之形敞口束颈，鼓腹，铸牲龙双耳簋足略高造型端正大方，古朴精美。铜簋之上以高浮雕手法装饰有仿古的兽面纹 ,兽面较宽,大口,小耳，头生反向内卷的双角。底座束腰部为呈夔龙纹。簋身凡有高浮雕纹饰处，均以细密的阴刻云雷纹为底， 烘托主体纹饰。簋座内底部有遍布底部的凸线菱形格为饰。此炉工艺繁复，结合多种装饰手法形制规整，构图生动具立体感 立口深腹线条优美，整器厚重、典雅，有上古铜器之遗风，为明文人所衷爱此炉造型典雅，穆穆大方， 制作老究华患精致棋为明代墓古铜炉之精品
