十七/十八世纪 铜鎏金佛像/nA small Chinese gilt bronze figure of Shakyamuni Buddha dating from the 18th to 19th century. The Buddha has his right hand in a bhumisparsha mudra, and his left hand holds a bowl. His hair and face are painted, and he wears a simple robe over one shoulder. He sits on a single lotus pedestal in dhyanasana. The bottom panel of the figure is incised with a vajra cross. Dimensions are: 4 inches tall X 2 1/2 inches wide, 10.2 cm X 6.4 cm. Weight: 10 oz. All measurements are approximate. High resolution images can be found here.
