A Chinese dark wood envelope games table, late Qing Dynasty, the square revolving top with four hinged fold-over flaps above four small gaming counter drawers raised on four dragon carved supports with claw and ball feet, the top carved in shallow relief with dragons, flaming pearls and cloud scrolls, the pierced apron with corresponding decoration, 54cm square x 83.5cm high Provenance: This table was brought back from China, circa 1900, by the current vendors ancestor who was a Merchant Seaman working for the Ben Line Shipping Company. It has remained in the family until now.
