镶蚀红玉髓最早出现公元前2600至1900年前印度河谷文明。据说制作镶蚀红玉髓先要挑选颜色均匀的石头，再将植物捣成糊状，加碱性溶液后用麻布过滤，后将混合溶液画在石头上面，等干燥后将石头埋在余烬中，等待冷却后取出。 此颗镶蚀红玉髓为十二线线珠，特殊图腾，珠体材质油润，清晰完整纯白的线条，形制规整，镶蚀规整深刻，画线走势精准锋利，咬色扎实光气十足，两端孔口孔压磨损到位，品相完整，无裂无缺，配以24K黄金垫片以及手工编绳，值得终身收藏。
