屏心为上等和田白玉，正面减地浮雕佛祖坐像，宝相庄严，背面阴刻描金彭元瑞书心经全文，毫芒彪炳，八分精劲，行伍井然，无一败笔，真绝技也。
彭元瑞（1731-1803）字芸楣，江西南昌人。乾隆二十二年（1757年）进士，改庶吉士，历任礼、兵、工三部尚书、协办大学士。彭元瑞博学强记，善对楹联，时有令誉。是纪晓岚门下的第一把交椅。纪晓岚为《四库全书》总纂官时，彭元瑞是十个副总裁之一。与蒋士铨合称“江右两名士”。嘉庆八年卒，赠太子太保，谥文勤。
